Dramatic twig bridge trek in remote Zanskar, with mountain adventurer Steve Berry.

To coincide with the completion of the traditional 'twig' bridge being built in the Kingdom of Zanskar, our Managing Director, Steve Berry, has created a brand new trek to the area.

You can join him on this challenging exploratory trek in a remote region of Ladakh, India. Witness the truly awesome scenery: deep gorges, high mountain passes and settlements perched improbably on the edges of precipices.

Over the past three years, Steve has been fundraising to build the 'twig' bridge in the village of Padum. Made entirely by hand in the dead of winter when the river below is frozen solid, the reconstruction of the twig bridge has breathed new life into ancient skills and helped to protect the unique culture of the Kingdom of Zanskar.

The trek is departing 21st August - 20th September 2013.
