The Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau continues to gather awards for its COVID-19 recovery campaign as it receives two Hermes Creative Awards.

The campaign, called “Forever Yours”, was created and launched by YMCTB's digital partners, Noble Studios once it was safe for tourists and visitors to return to Mariposa County and Yosemite. The campaign won a Platinum Hermes Award in the Video Series category and won a Gold Hermes Award in the Digital Ad Campaign category. The concept grew out of an unprecedented video and messaging from YMCTB that asked visitors to stay safe and stay home early in the Pandemic.

“We're really proud to know that our recovery campaign was not only successful in bringing tourists back to Mariposa County but honored to know that it's being recognized as one of the best advertising campaigns of all of 2020,” said YMCTB Executive Director Jonathan Farrington. “We want to thank Noble Studios for their creative partnership efforts which really set up Mariposa County for a safe recovery and return of tourism from COVID-19.”

The Forever Yours campaign invited Californians to return to Mariposa County once it was safe to do so for socially distanced outdoor recreation in Yosemite Mariposa County's wide-open spaces.

The two Hermes Awards made the third and fourth accolades that the campaign has won. In April, the campaign took home two awards from the 2021 American Advertising Awards, also known as the ADDYs. The awards came in the Film, Video, & Sound and the Online/Interactive campaign categories. This is also the second time that YMCTB was recognized by Hermes, the website, Yosemite.com, took gold in 2019's Web Design category.
