CAPE TOWN, South Africa, March 24, 2015. African Luxury Hideaways and YogaSpirit, both family-owned businesses based in Cape Town, team up to create a unique African experience at the Elephant's Eye, Hwange eco-lodge in Zimbabwe. African Luxury Hideaways (ALH), a portfolio of luxury eco-lodges across Southern Africa, and YogaSpirit, owned by one of Cape Town's most experienced yoga teachers Kate Ball, have decided to put together a 6-day yoga package from May 21st-26th this year aiming at everyone passionate about yoga and looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the African bush.

'Our goal is to make people in the Western Cape more aware of the beauty of the Hwange area in Zimbabwe. This is why we are creating exciting packages like the Yoga Retreat with local businesses like YogaSpirit', says Katja Quasdorf, Product & Marketing Manager at ALH. This is when ALH approached one of Cape Town's most prominent yoga instructors, Kate Ball, the owner of YogaSpirit in Constantia. Kate Ball who has trained with Ana Forrest in the USA, is specialized in Vinyasa Yoga and has already led several yoga retreats worldwide. 'This is my first time leading a retreat in the African bush and I couldn't be more excited'. She truly believes that yoga can lead to a happier and more conscious life – from her own experience she knows what positive changes are possible because of yoga. The Yoga retreat is the first one being launched at Elephant's Eye, Hwange with more to follow like a Food & Wine Workshop or a Wildlife Photography Course.

About the Yoga Retreat:

The 6-day retreat will run from the 21st of May to the 26th of May with Kate Ball at Elephant's Eye, Hwange. The lodge is a new 4-star eco-lodge on a private concession only 13 km outside of Hwange National Park.
