The Yarra Valley Regional Food Group Farmers Market is Victoria's longest running Farmers' Market – ever!

What a delicious achievement! 20 years as a vibrant Farmers Market set in an historic barn on the grounds of Yering Station winery. Yarra Valley Regional Food Group (YVRFG) have done just that and it's only getting better with age. Leading the way in championing the regions diverse natural produce and the dedicated growers and talented makers of the Yarra Valley has made this Farmers Market an absolute food institution.

Activities will include:

There's an extensive product mix from the potential 45 stall holders that includes: local butchers, fresh locally grown produce, jams and relishes, cakes, berries, farm fresh eggs, cheese, internationally loved biscuits … plus coffee and meals available on the day to enjoy for your lunch and general grazing.

In addition to this, live music, visiting local and food celebrities (TBA), face painters, cooking demonstrations, a mobile reptile zoo and jumping castles all on the sprawling lawns at Yering Station.

GENERAL MARKET INFORMATION 

The YVRFG Farmers Market is on the third Sunday of each month.

Being held in the Barn at Yering Station Winery means it's an 'all-weather' event.

February Sunday 18th

March Sunday 18th

The selection is local and seasonal so varies from month to month but extends across and is not limited to: fresh fruit and vegetable, speciality berries and cherries, farm fresh eggs, organic sourdough bread, cakes, biscuits, locally roasted coffee, award-winning jams and relishes. There is always live music and free parking.

The market was originally founded by Suzanne Halliday to assist showcase the stunning quality produce of the area to partner with the rise of it's highly regarded wine.
