The lifestyle boutique hotel, which opened its doors in January 2020, has been reinvigorating The Hague's hotel industry over the past two and a half years with its collective design approach and is now part of the WorldHotels Crafted collection. A hotel full of contrasts

The Collector is located behind eight monumental facades on the Haagsche Bluf, a special courtyard in the middle of the city centre of The Hague with an eclectic mix of architectural styles. A glass walkway provides connection between the two different buildings. The masterminds of the impressive architectural transformation process and the hotel's interior design are Hugo Broeders of HUGO interior design and the creative team of The Collector led by Celine Lin-Chu, co-owner, and Creative Director of SLOK Hospitality Group. Their premise was to combine the history of the building with vintage from the 50's and 60's, plus classic and modern luxurious design. In addition, you will find special exhibited collections in the hotel, where you can admire both historical items and the most remarkable modern art objects.

The lobby is the place where guests are first introduced to The Collector. The colourful contrasts, the vitrines with the exhibited collections and the vibrant atmosphere, make The Collector's basecamp the most enchanting meeting place in The Hague. Art rooms

The Collector has a total of 57 rooms, ranging from comfort rooms to suites. The all-new upper floor offers super bright rooms with first-class views over the city centre of The Hague. All hotel rooms have a unique character thanks to artworks designed by artist Julie Gondoin. The artworks are all handmade and are based on two classic works: a portrait of the French Duchess Elisabeth of Austria, Queen of France and an anonymous portrait of a man exhibited in the Mauritshuis in The Hague. Each artwork tells its own story and is made up of an eclectic collection of small details, such as quartet games from the Royal House, different parts of Barbie dolls, cassette tapes, lips and more.
