WORLDHOTELS, the leading global hotel group for independent hotels and regional brands, is showcasing five of their Deluxe Collection hotels at Asia Luxury Travel Market (ALTM) 2008, opening at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre on June 17th.

Asias most anticipated luxury travel expo has attracted luxury product exhibitors from across the globe.

Among them are WORLDHOTELS member hotels from Asia, The Presidential Hotel Beijing, Caravelle Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City and The Garden Hotel, Guangzhou, plus Hotel Bristol Geneva and Hotel D'Angleterre, Copenhagen from Europe.

From China, Garden Hotel Guangzhou was the first hotel in the country awarded platinum 5-star status. The Guangzhou Garden Hotel is an impressive 30-story deluxe building in Huanshi Dong Lu, the central business district of vibrant Guangzhou. The Caravelle Hotel in Vietnam is an award-winning, 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The 1950s colonial icon, offers 335 spacious rooms, five outstanding restaurants and bars, and is famous for its open rooftop Saigon Saigon Bar.

From Europe, Hotel d'Angleterre is the number one address in Copenhagen and one of the most famous historic hotels in Europe. The five-star luxury hotel is located on historic Kings Square and has 123 rooms and suites, all individually decorated and combine classic interiors with modern technology. Restaurant D'Angleterre serves international cuisine with an emphasis on modern French cooking.

Also in Europe, the charming Hotel Bristol Geneva overlooks the Pont du Mont-Blanc, where the Rhone river meets beautiful Lake Geneva, within walking distance of the Old Town, railway station, financial and shopping districts. With its spacious rooms and suites, the Hotel Bristol invites guests to discover its blend of unique antique furniture, modern tasteful design and up- to-date amenities.

Asia-Pacific is currently the fastest growing region for WORLDHOTELS, with year on year growth of 35 per cent, and the luxury travel segment represents a large part of that development. Roland added.

Underlining its prestige in the hospitality industry, ALTM has been nominated in the Best Leading Travel Exhibition category of the prestigious World Travel Awards, the Oscars of the travel industry.
