WORLDHOTELS combats challenging economic climate and achieves growth with new booking tool

Eight months after its introduction, the new WORLDHOTELS internet booking engine, WORLDHOTELS.resmaster, has already generated significant growth for the groups affiliate properties, despite of the current economic climate. Launched by WORLDHOTELS in January 2009 as part of the companys recession-buster initiative IMPACT 2009, it has proven a successful tool to counteract the challenges of todays economical situation.

The new internet booking engine is only one aspect of our groundbreaking IMPACT 2009 strategy, says Roland Jegge, Vice President of WORLDHOTELS Asia Pacific. Additional recession-buster measures include Training Unlimited 2009, the innovative training initiative for our affiliate hotels, various partner promotions and leisure packages for consumers, an extensive MICE incentive, special conditions for corporate clients, and attractive travel agent rates.

WORLDHOTELS.resmaster is an enhanced and completely remodeled version of the hotel groups previous booking engine and has been designed to maximise booking numbers and consequently increase revenue. Results have shown that all hotels using WORLDHOTELS.resmaster have experienced significant growth in room nights, with one in four hotels doubling their results since switching to the new booking engine.

To date, already half of WORLDHOTELS 500 affiliate hotels have installed WORLDHOTELS.resmaster and it is currently being rolled out to the rest of the portfolio. The state-of-the-art booking engine is exclusive to WORLDHOTELS properties and is free of charge for them to use.

With WORLDHOTELS.resmaster, WORLDHOTELS offers its hotels a comprehensive and easy-to-use booking tool which is convenient to set-up and highly customisable. It can be adapted to any websites booking capability and design, as well as to each hotels business needs. Hotels can include their own logo, colours and images, and have the ability to choose from ten different languages and numerous other functionalities.
