WORLDHOTELS is organising an Asian roadshow themed Worldfocus for affiliates of the global sales, marketing and distribution network to promote their properties across the region.
The Worldfocus roadshow from 1 11 June including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo will allow almost 1000 clients to network and dialogue with participating hotels.
Affiliate hotels will have the opportunity to make presentations and have face-to-face appointments with key trade management companies, MICE organisers such as American Express and Carlson Wagonlit Travel and corporate clients.
The two week tour starts in Singapore from 1 2 June, continues to Hong Kong from 2 5 June, then Shanghai, where World Expo 2010 has just opened, from 6 8 June, and ends in Tokyo on 11 June.
Opportunities for networking, socialising and sharing experiences about current hospitality industry trends are also being organised for participating hotels at evening cocktail parties and dinners throughout the tour.
Participating hotels include unique properties such as The Claridges Surajkund Delhi that features aesthetically designed rooms and the largest spa in India; Singapores prestigious address Goodwood Park Hotel that celebrates the 110th anniversary this year and combines the most modern of facilities with a grand turn-of-the-century atmosphere; the award-winning and 1950s colonial icon, Caravelle Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City; Bonnington Jumeirah Lake Towers, a chic five-star residential landmark in Dubai, and a stylish five-star distinctive design resort touching Nai Yang Beach, Phuket, Indigo Pearl.
WORLDHOTELS Vice President Asia-Pacific, Roland Jegge, said: The Worldfocus roadshow is targeting the four most dynamic cities in the worlds most buoyant market for corporate hospitality event organisers and buyers. It is part of our ongoing initiatives to promote our fast-growing portfolio of affiliate hotels and resorts in an increasingly positive climate in the tourism and business travel industry.
The efforts are clearly paying dividends. WORLDHOTELS has boosted its total room night production and revenue by 30% in the first quarter of 2010 compared to the same period last year, he added.
