Working a season for Esprit, Ski Total or Inghams is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages and develops a variety of skills, is a chance to meet like minded people and all importantly, improve skiing or snowboarding by spending around 5 months living in the mountains! Each day is different and there are a variety of jobs for people with different skills and levels of experience. There is a fantastic remuneration package available for all those who work a season with Esprit, Inghams and Ski Total including, a competitive salary, full board (or allowance if not), accommodation, full medical and liability insurance, transport to and from the UK, holiday pay, sales commission (selected roles), end of season bonus for those who finish the season, local ski lift pass, full ski hire and boots, one full day off per week (plus time off other days), comprehensive pre-season training, up to 10% discount for family and friends holidays (terms and conditions apply).

Case studies:
Ski Resort Representative- each day is varied when working as a resort representative and it is an opportunity to understand the operational side of the ski business. This is a guest focused role which develops communication and sales skills, is a chance to build up language skills and requires team work, organisation and provides the opportunity to develop ski and snowboard skills. The main tasks are to organise welcome meetings, organise lift passes, ski school, ski hire and running après ski events and enjoy ample time out on the mountains. Rachel Gaston, former Inghams resort rep and administrator at Chalet Oliver in La Rosière, France is available to interview, currently working as a PR Executive for Inghams.
Ski resort Chalet Host- the chalet host strives to deliver a 'home from home' experience looking after guests week on week. The main responsibilities are cooking delicious food and maintaining the cleanliness of the chalet. The chalet hosts are vital in the Inghams guests' experience. There is the opportunity to learn to cook through the workaseason cookery course. This job will develop basic budgeting and administration skills, communication, cooking, hospitality, organisation, team work and time keeping skills with plenty of spare time to perfect skiing and snowboarding.
