Save the date for the next Women in Tourism Leadership Lunch with bonus Confidence Bootcamp

The next lunch in the Women in Tourism (WiT) Leadership series comes with a serious benefit to anyone who has ever struggled with confidence issues or have staff that do.

In addition to a networking lunch, to be held at the brand new Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) Conference Centre, WiT welcomes facilitator Genevieve Matthews to take the group on an interactive journey through the art and science of confidence; what it is, why we need it, and how to get it.

Genevieve says, “Many people inadvertently grapple with three main fears in the workplace that impact confidence; the fear of rejection (they avoid speaking up and putting their opinion on the table), the fear of not being good enough (they lack initiative to avoid failure), the fear of being exposed as a fraud (they micro manage others to cover up their own self-doubt and trust challenges). We'll be working together to identify the best strategies to allay these fears and learn to shine and thrive. Whether you have your own self-doubts, lack confidence or have team members that do, this is a must attend event for anyone wanting to improve their leaderships skills either in a corporate role or running their own business.”

This will be the first event to be held in the ANMM's new event space and as part of this, the team is offering the opportunity to participate in a site inspection of their recently opened Action Stations event space and attraction, as well as a first look at the brand new event spaces.
