Women in Tourism Leadership Lunch is coming to Melbourne, with the first event to be held at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne on Thursday 23rd November 2017.

The topic for the launch event is 'Pivotal Leadership Moments'.

The guest panellists are Corina Black, General Manager Sales, Commercial and Marketing at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Anne Jamieson, Director of Customer Experience at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre withe the third panellists to be announced soon.

Mary-Jane Devine from Fusion Marketing in conjunction with Romina Izzo, from Travel with a Twist and Gwen (O'Toole) Luscombe of The Ideas Library have led the coordination of this first Women in Tourism Leadership Melbourne event and will act as the host on the day.

“We have been wanting to bring Women in Tourism Leadership Lunch to Melbourne for quite sometime and thought we could fit one in before the end of 2017. We love how these events and the online group bring people from all facets of tourism together and discuss topics that we don't hear much about at regular tourism events,” said Devine.

The Women in Tourism Leadership events aim to bring together professionals in the tourism industry to network, learn and discuss issues of women in the workplace.
 Previous lunches have included the themes of International Women's Day, Career Planning, Mentors and Mastermind Groups, Men's Roles in Women's Careers and Confidence Bootcamp. 

The Melbourne November event invites guests to enjoy a two-course lunch with wine, along with networking, learning and robust discussion on the topic of 'Pivotal Leadership Moments' and what it means to be a great leader.
