Le Meurice
Alain Ducasse now oversees the food and beverage operations at Le Meurice. Further enhancing this Parisian landmark, Ducasse brings his innovative vision and distinctive take on contemporary French cuisine, exemplifying his philosophy of focusing on the essence of the product.
Reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting the arts, Le Meurice will introduce ‘Les Lundis Musicaux’ package in partnership with the Thé'tre du Palais Royal. Taking inspiration from the 70’s and 80’s, when Pierre Berger and Yves Saint Laurent organised weekly music recitals every Monday, the Thé'tre du Palais Royal has adapted the original concept of ‘Les Lundis Musicaux’ for a modern day audience. The recitals will take place on Mondays until 22 June 2014. A four course menu will be served.
Head pastry chef Christophe Michalak has created his classic Christmas log, this time in the shape of a trunk referring to the hotel’s temporary closure. This year, the traditional Christmas log comes with a bed of crisp crunchy praline under a creamy layer made of Caribbean chocolate and covered with coconut biscuit. A light coconut mousse topped with a tropical coulis adds the finishing touch to the creation. The log will be available from 21 to 26 December at Le Meurice and The Dorchester.
