Winter Festivals in the Yukon

Tourism Yukon

Canada has officially reopened to international tourists and the Yukon is looking forward to welcoming visitors back to the wilderness and invites them to celebrate at various festivals this upcoming winter.

The five-month winter season in the Yukon spans from November until the end of the March. During this time, the Yukon, located in Canada's Northwest corner, is a winter wonderland, idyllically set in 80% pristine wilderness. During the winter, the Yukon offers visitors an abundance of immense aurora viewing opportunities including from remote lodges, round campfires and on aurora hunting trips.
