The panel of judges consisting of Philippa Macken, Paula Heelan, Tim the Yowieman and Christina Pfeiffer selected the winner and two finalists from a strong field of contenders aged between seven (7) and 12 years of age. The winner takes home $100 prize money and the top three blogs will be published on Traveltherenext.com, a digital storytelling platform for professional journalists and new media content creators.
