Winners Of The 2013 Business Travel Journalism Awards Announced

Business Travel Journalism Awards

The winners of the 10th annual Business Travel Journalism Awards were announced during a sparkling awards dinner at The Bloomsbury Ballroom in central London. Journalists across consumer, meetings & events and business travel titles were recognised for their quality media coverage of the business travel and meetings & events sectors.

Ginny Buckley, broadcaster and journalist, chaired the judging panel for the awards, comprising business travel and meetings managers, industry experts, and journalists.

Commenting on the awards, Buckley said, “Over the past 10 years, the number and quality of entries has increased each year and 2013 is no exception. We received nearly 15% more entries than last year, a testament to the hard work of the journalists covering the sector.”

The awards are a celebration of the achievements of individual journalists, designers and editorial teams. During the event, journalists cast their vote for the peer most deserving of the accolade, Journalists’ Business Travel or Meetings & Events Journalist of the Year, which was presented to Sarah O’Donnell, Deputy Editor of Conference News.
