CruiseGuide.com.au, Australia’s leading online community and resource for cruise fans, has launched its second major competition worth $3,800. The prize is a seven-night Mediterranean cruise for two on one of four MSC Cruise ships, including the flagship MSC Preziosa.

The competition is being run again in conjunction with key partner, YourLifeChoices.com.au, and MSC Cruises. The winner will depart on a cruise of the Mediterranean between September 7 and October 26, 2014. There is a choice of itineraries, a choice of departure points in Italy, France, Spain and Tunisia, and four ships to choose from including MSC Fantasia, MSC Musica, MSC Splendida and MSC Preziosa.

We’re delighted to be working with our new partner MSC Cruises, and being able to offer such a wide choice of great cruises across four lovely ships,” says CruiseGuide’s online editor, Joanna Hall. “The Mediterranean is one of the most popular places for many Australians to visits, and an MSC Cruise is a great way to explore this diverse and fascinating region."

Of the four ships available to the winner, the newest is the flagship MSC Preziosa, which was christened in Genoa at a glittering ceremony earlier this year by the silver screen diva, Sophia Loren. With the ship’s launch, MSC Cruises became the third largest cruise line in the world.

At 140,000 tons and standing 18 decks tall, MSC Preziosa also has 1,751 staterooms, and will carry up to 4,345 guests on cruise holidays in the Mediterranean. Highlights of her many features include 21 bars, four swimming pools including an infinity pool, a bowling alley, a sports area, a fitness centre, an MSC Yacht Club with 69 suites, and an elaborate MSC Aurea Spa.

"MSC Preziosa is particularly impressive as the MSC flagship, not only because of her size, but also the wide variety of facilities she offers cruisers across the age spectrum," says Hall. "The other three ships on offer in this competition, however, are equally delightful with big personalities of their own, and plenty of alluring attractions."
