Enjoy Africa's wildlife at its best, from the privacy of a North Luangwa bushcamp. Guerba, one of the UK's leading adventure travel operators currently in its 26th season in operation, today unveils a new tour to the Northern Luangwa Valley in Zambia. The Luangwa Valley is one of Africa's best preserved wildlife areas boasting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the continent. This six-day package offers the opportunity to visit remote and previously inaccessible areas of the valley whilst staying at community-owned bushcamps.
Over the six days visitors will enjoy game drives in Zambia's remote national parks, game walks with a conservationist guide, accommodation in three different community-owned bushcamp chalets and a night drive safari where waterbuck, and impala are just a few of the sights to enjoy.
The COMACO bushcamps are an initiative for rural development that support natural resource management, with local guides that escort the game walks who were once poachers and/or hunter gathers - now turned conservationists.
The exciting new tour offers visitors the opportunity to experience Africa at its most raw, natural and unedited. Travellers will stay in bushcamp chalets, located strategically close to the Luangwa River, providing excellent views of the wildlife, which comes down to drink from its waters.
The Luangwa Valley Wilderness Safari offers serenity and privacy far removed from the normal tourist route and costs 575 per person (excluding international flights) plus a local payment of US$80.
