Why wait for winter? The pre-season autumn months are a great time to brush up on your ski technique.
Snoworks have courses for all abilities launching this autumn on the extensive, snow-sure, Tignes Glacier.
Skiers don't need to wait until winter to get their snow fix and enjoy a real ski holiday in the Alps.
Quiet slopes, cheaper prices, guaranteed snow and the very best of British ski instruction is available in France starting on October 18th.
There's a huge variety of courses available before the main winter season starts and they provide skiers an opportunity to brush up on their technique or simply get away for a break.
Here's what's on offer:
All-Terrain Skiing
Welcome to the world of all-mountain skiing and new experiences.
All-Terrain courses are geared towards intermediate skiers, right through to advanced and expert enthusiasts and instructors. They are keen to take their skiing to a whole new level and ready to begin learning to tackle steeper slopes, off-piste, bumps, to ski faster with more control and cope with variable snow and terrain.
Dates for the autumn All-Terrain program in Tignes:
October – 18th and 25th
November – 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd
Course price £300 including 5 days with a Snoworks instructor.
Holiday prices 7 nights half-board accommodation with afternoon tea including airport transfers from Geneva start from £290 per person in a catered chalet based on twin occupancy.

Race Carve Courses
Pure Adrenalin Racing and Carving for recreational skiers and those starting out in racing. A blend between working on edge control and carving outside of slalom gates and then skiing through the gates to experience real race training. It's the most popular course in the autumn and winter and available for adventurous intermediates upwards.
'So next comes the fun bit', says Snoworks instructor and 4 times Olympic ski racer Emma Carrick Anderson. 'Ski down the mountain, stick the ski on its edge and hey presto, the ski takes you around a curve. Wow, how easy is that, it's like cranking over a Ducati. Get it right, the edges bite and the skis accelerate leaving a mist of melted snow in your trail. Say goodbye to your old push bike, and hello to your new Ducati!'
