Lovers can whisk their partner to Amber Restaurant for a Scottish inspired five-course menu this Valentine's Day.
The award winning restaurant, located in the vaults of The Scotch Whisky Experience and just a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle, has brought together the best food and drink that Scotland has to offer, with the five-course menu priced at £49 per person.
Executive chef David Neave and his expert team use the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are full of flavour and character, whilst also reflecting the regional diversity of Scotland's larder.
Couples will be treated to a glass of pink fizz on arrival, before choosing from a menu which includes seared scallops with crab dumpling and lobster mayonnaise; pan seared halibut with truffled potato purée, fried greens and mussel bisque; and twice baked goats cheese soufflé with caramelised walnuts and roasted Jerusalem artichokes. The meal is rounded off with cheese, one of three desserts and, of course, a special dram of Scotch Whisky.
Amber's Valentine's menu is available on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 February, priced at £49 per person.
