Saint Lucia has become one of the hottest destinations for couples to tie the knot or spend an unforgettable honeymoon experience. Thanks to the friendly Caribbean vibe, breath-taking Piton Mountains, stunning lush scenery, beautiful palm-fringed beaches and enchanting places to stay, the stage is set for romance.
Saint Lucia offers the freedom of planning your wedding the way you want, whether its an elaborate event with family and friends or a quiet affair for just the two of you, its all made remarkably easy. Theres a wide range of accommodation available, from intimate guesthouses and exclusive boutique hotels, to spacious villas, luxury resorts, all-inclusive hotels and romantic couples only resorts.
Most hotels provide tailored services and personal wedding co-ordinators to ensure that your every need is attended to. They can help source your wedding location, arrange the flowers, steel band music, catering, photography and even the best man!
Honeymooners can enjoy this hidden tropical gem and take advantage of the privacy Saint Lucia offers. There are numerous resorts tucked away in secluded bays, near deserted stretches of beach with some boutique resorts having their very own private plunge pools. Couples can also enjoy various spa treatments, breakfast in bed, moonlit dinners for two on the beach and romantic sunset cruises to the dramatic Piton Mountains.
For those wanting to explore the island, theres an abundance of activities to choose from. Why not try scuba-diving or snorkelling? If youre an adventure seeker, give zip wiring through the rainforest a go or try your hand at jungle biking off the beaten track, you wont be disappointed! Nature lovers can witness the giant leatherback turtles on the beach at Grand Anse who lay their eggs from mid March to the end of July or simply sit back and take in the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean on horse back and witness the island exploding with natural splendour.
With direct flights from London Gatwick, five times a week from October with British Airways and three direct flights with Virgin Atlantic, what are you waiting for?
