Deer Valley Resort will More Than Double Its Skiable Terrain in 2025
Deer Valley Resort in Park City has announced plans for a major expansion that will mark the beginning of a new era for the world-class ski resort. With plans to double the terrain, introduce a new snow village and upgrade Deer Valley Resort's existing facilities, it will elevate the experience for all skill levels. The first phase will see 3,700 acres of new skiable terrain to the resort which will open as it is completed.
The full expansion is projected to be done in time for 2025/2026 ski season. When it is completed, Deer Valley will offer over 5,726 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 37 chairlifts serving 238 ski runs, several wide-open bowls, gladed areas and grooming that adheres to Deer Valley's existing standards, all supported by a new cutting-edge snowmaking system. expandedexcellence.deervalley.com
New Spa at Sundance Mountain Resort
Sundance Mountain Resort is one of the top-rated ski resorts in the United States. Located only an hour from Salt Lake City Airport, this resort is a great base for all ski levels with more than 500 acres and 2,150 vertical feet. Starting in December guests will be able to enjoy a full day on the slopes and head back to their lodge to unwind at 'The Springs' – a new facility that will feature two hot tubs and a spa. sundanceresort.com/the-springs/
New Shuttle Buses from Salt Lake International Airport to the slopes
Getting to the slopes from Salt Lake without a car is now seamless with shuttles and passes. New in 2023, the Cottonwood Express Ski Shuttle will be available again this season which will make the journey from the terminal to the slopes easy and cost-effective. For a ski-packed no-driving holiday, passengers can buy one ticket for *£8.20 round trip to hit slopes at Little Cottonwood Canyon and pair it with the Salt Lake Ski Super Pass for access to Salt Lake's four world-class resorts.
