2019 will see the maiden voyage of a five-star luxury, sustainable yacht set sail in the archipelago of the Galapagos, a new AC Hotel complete with a rooftop restaurant featuring views of aircrafts flying in and out of LAX, and a new boutique property from The Luxury by Nature Collection in Guatemala. Plus, the birthplace of the Pina Colada will reopen its doors in Puerto Rico after a multi-million dollar renovation just in time for its 70th birthday, while a new Autograph Collection hotel opening near Daytona International Speedway will get hearts revving with its racing inspired design. Recent Renovations...

A new year calls for fresh looks like a restyled Miami Beach oasis channeling all things tranquil and tropical or an extensive Jalisco-inspired resort renovation that pays homage to the color palate of Mexico's Pacific coast. And a sprawling beachfront Cancun resort gives life to the phrase  “new year, new me” with a $40 million Mayan-inspired renovation, complete with a 'gram-worthy 150 Margaritas Menu and more. Destination News...

Three large-scale hotel projects will pop up on the colorful island of Curaçao in 2019. Other development launches on the horizon include Grand View Piscadera, a multi-use complex with state-of-the-art condos, while Coral Cliff at Santa Martha, an expansive, 700-room complex and marina, will be built in three stages over the next 10 years, and the beach will also be upgraded for all to enjoy.
