Major Attractions
In summer 2015, LEGOLAND® California Resort debuts LEGO Friends Heartlake City. The new area is based on the LEGO Group's “Friends” series of toys, which focuses on the lives and personalities of five girls: Mia, Olivia, Andrea, Stephanie and Emma. The new area invites guests to sing along with Andrea at her tour stage, stroll through LEGO horse stables, enjoy a building activity at one of the LEGO brick tables and go for a horseback ride on the carousel in Mia's family ranch. The new LEGO® Friends Heartlake City is included in the cost of admission to LEGOLAND California Resort. (11/4)
The first four weekends in May 2015, SeaWorld hosts a Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival, featuring craft beer from local San Diego breweries, plus international cuisine representing California, Europe, the Caribbean and Pacific Islands. Wine will also be served and local bands will perform throughout the day at Garden Plaza. Admission to the Seven Seas Craft Beer and Food Fest are included with SeaWorld admission, while beer, food and wine tastings are additional costs. (1/15)
Opening in fall 2015, the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) will connect the Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) directly to a new facility inSan Diego via a secure pedestrian bridge border crossing for ticketed airline passengers. The CBX is designed to meet U.S. and international security standards and will offer fully bilingual customer service, convenient parking, passenger amenities including food, beverage and retail services, as well as comfortable indoor and outdoor guest waiting areas. TIJ is a 24-hour airport that offers a wide range of flights to more than 30 destinations in Mexico, and the CBX will make the connection to San Diego more convenient for airline travelers. The project is under construction in the U.S. with the capacity to serve more than two million passengers per year. (11/14)
Belmont Park in Mission Bay kicks off a year-long celebration to recognize 90 years of fun on the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster with a #MillionsofMemories campaign. The 90th celebration of this 1925, 2,600-ft.-long wooden coaster will include an antique car show and gala to highlight 90 years and millions of memories. The newest addition to Belmont Park is the laser maze challenge, opened in April 2015; this "Mission Impossible" style course invites players to duck, dive and roll through a timed course. The objective is to navigate the course as quickly as possible without breaking the lasers. (4/15)
As part of the National Park Service centennial in 2016, San Diego's only national park, Cabrillo National Monument, invites visitors to participate in “Find your Park” events from April to Dec. 2016. The centennial is an opportunity to introduce the National Park Service to the next generation of visitors through special events such as Bunker Tours on Memorial Day with extended hours and a free day on July 25. Other activities at Cabrillo National Monument include guided hikes, tours of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse, a Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo exhibit, and beautiful views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay.
Major Events
The largest annual event in San Diego County, San Diego County Fair, takes place June 5–July 5, 2015, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. This year's theme, “A Fair to Remember: A Celebration of World's Fairs and Balboa Park,” celebrates the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition held in Balboa Park and the great traditions and inventions arising from fairs. The fair features top performing artists and popular attractions like the International Beer Festival, creative assortments of deep-fried food novelties, livestock exhibits, home and hobby displays, woodworking and an award-winning flower show. San Diego celebrates Independence Day with a variety of Fourth of July celebrations throughout the county. Coronado's popular Independence Day Celebration features a two-hour parade followed by a family concert in Spreckels Park and spectacular fireworks over Glorietta Bay. The Port of San Diego celebrates with its Big Bay Boom fireworks extravaganza over San Diego Bay, the largest fireworks display in the county. LEGOLAND California Resort in Carlsbad celebrates July 4th with Red, White and BOOM! Special family activities are available throughout the day with the fireworks starting at 8:30 p.m. (4/15)
Visitors can be superheroes for a day at Comic-Con International, July 9-12, 2015, at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con has become a signature summertime event for San Diego; it is the largest comics and pop culture event in the United States, attracting tens of thousands of artists, celebrities and fans of comic books, and features movie and TV memorabilia and all things related to pop culture. Del Mar Thoroughbred Club is again planning two racing seasons in 2015–the traditional summer season kicks off with a Best Hat Contest on Opening Day, July 16 and runs through Sept. 7. The summer meet will offer racing Wed.-Sun. with an additional race day on Labor Day. Del Mar's fall meeting will feature 15 racing days and run Fri.-Sun. on its first weekend, followed by four-day racing weeks (Thur.-Sun.) for the balance of the session. (4/15)
Residents and visitors alike celebrate with pride during The Annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade and Festival, July 18-19. The second largest event of its kind on the West Coast, San Diego's Pride Festival includes a mile-long parade through Hillcrest and two-day music festival in Balboa Park. The celebration will begin the evening of July 17 with dance stages and a big street festival at The Pride of Hillcrest Block Party. (4/15)
This summer, the International Aerobic Championship (July 27-31) and the World Hip Hop Dance Championships (Aug. 2-9) are being held in north San Diego at the Event Center at Harrah's Resort. The events culminate with the World Hip Hop Dance Championship Finals on Aug. 9 at the Viejas Arena at San Diego State University. Competitions in 50 counties qualify the best street dancers and dance crews for the annual World Hip Hop Dance Championship, referred to as the “Olympics of Hip Hop Dance.” In the 2015 International Aerobic Championship, 300 of the world's fittest athletes from 20 nations will vie for the top honors at the Event Center at Harrah's. On Aug, 1, 2015, dozens of dogs take to the waves during the 10th Annual Unleashed by Petco Surf Dog Competition in Imperial Beach. Visitors can take in the fun as more than 50 dogs compete in small dog, medium dog, large dog, extra-large dog and tandem surfing challenges. (4/15)
During Sept. 4-7, more than 300 tons of sand will be carved and molded into beautiful sculptures for the annual U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge and 3D Art Exposition. Held at the B Street Cruise Ship Terminal alongside San Diego Bay, the event features live entertainment, food trucks and unique rides for kids including a zipline that flies over the show. (4/15)
The 21st Annual San Diego Festival of Beertakes place Sept. 18 on San Diego's downtown bayfront at The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. More than 60 breweries provide up to 120 samples and tastings of brews alongside live musical performances, vendors and food. (4/15)
New Venues
In April 2015, the city's newest nightlife destination, OMNIA San Diego, opened in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. The nightclub has been lavishly designed and features both indoor and outdoor spaces including a spacious terrace with scenic views of San Diego's skyline. OMNIA San Diego has booked a globally impressive 2015 roster of big-name DJs and live acts, promising a revolutionary musical experience. (4/15)
In fall 2015, historic Liberty Station will open a new art, film, food and event space called TheLOT/Liberty Station, located at the former Luce Auditorium at the Naval Training Center (NTC) Arts & Culture District in Point Loma. Six intimate cinemas will provide seating for 50 to 100 people, and a new outdoor covered lounge for dining and socializing will overlook historic Luce Court. The original 20,000-sq.-ft. Luce Auditorium opened in 1941, with 2,200 seats, to screen Navy recruit training films, special event programs and general release films. Backlot Hospitality, the new leasee, intends to preserve Luce Auditorium's exterior architectural features with first-class adaptive reuse, while returning the building to its historic use.
In April 2015, a new Visitor Information Center opened on Harbor Drive as part of San Diego's North Embarcadero Visionary Plan Phase I, a comprehensive project to enhance the waterfront and create new public open space that welcomes residents and tourists. The visitor center is operated by Historic Tours of America and is part of a $31.1 million joint project of the Port of San Diego, the City of San Diego and Civic San Diego to beautify the waterfront from Navy Pier to B Street Pier. A 105-foot-wide public esplanade also provides an inviting place to stroll, iconic public art by internationally acclaimed artist Pae White and a café where local favorite Carnitas Snack Shack is expected to open a new location. In Jan. 2016, San Diego International Airport is scheduled for completion of a new consolidated Rental Car Center (RCC) on the north side of the airfield. The RCC will house a number of rental car companies in a single building, including the leading national brands, as well as local, independent and small business rental car companies. (4/15)
In April 2015, the San Diego Padres finished left field renovations at Petco Park and announced new, local food vendors and group space in the ballpark. Along with improvements to the left field seating areas, the centerpiece of the renovations is a high-definition video display system, which is the third-largest in Major League Baseball, The video board is five times the size of the previous screen and can run full-screen to show live action or video replays, or it can be split into sections for statistical information, graphics and animations. New group space includes The Landing, a private 300-seat area in left field, The Porch private group space in the main concourse, and a new suite in the patio of Western Metal Supply building. New concessions vendors include local breweries and restaurants: Pizza Port, Firehouse Subs, The Patio, and Hess Brewing among others. (4/15)
New Hotels
In October 2014, Pendry San Diego, a 317-room, $100 million-plus upscale hotel, broke ground in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. The 12-story hotel located three blocks north of the San Diego Convention Center is expected to open in the summer of 2016 and will include 36 suites of studio, one- and two-bedroom accommodations and several restaurants and bars, including an underground "ultra-lounge" nightclub and a beer hall. An outdoor pool, spa, grill and fitness area will be located on a third floor deck. The 8,600-sq.-ft. ballroom and various meeting rooms will cater to local and out-of-town group meeting planners. The average room rate has not been set but is expected to range from $250 to $300. (11/14)
Hotel Renovations & Name Changes
In April 2015, San Diego's Kona Kai Resort & Marina, situated on the tip of Shelter Island, was officially renamed Kona Kai Resort & Spa. The resort just completed multi-million dollar renovations throughout the property including guest rooms, Vessel Restaurant, lobby and the recently completed SpaTerre. (4/15)
Luxury hotel operator Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will soon take over management of San Diego's top-rated hotel, The Grand Del Mar. The highly regarded resort, which was named TripAdvisor's #1 Luxury Hotel in California in 2014 and a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotel for the fourth consecutive year, will be re-named The Fairmont Grand Del Mar and will join a distinctive hotel collection that includes the iconic Fairmont San Francisco, world-famous The Plaza in New York, and landmark The Savoy in London. In May 2015, Hotel Palomar San Diego completed a major renovation, transforming 50 rooms into a new Skyline Collection on floors 16-20. The property converted 20 lofts into 30 guestrooms, 12 junior suites, six suites and two penthouses designed to offer the quintessential San Diego experience with surf-inspired modern design and stunning city views. In March 2015, Embassy Suites, San Diego Bay – Downtown completed an $8.5 million renovation of the property's atrium and lobby area and updates to 341 guestrooms, along with a revamped fitness center and re-design of the meeting spaces, hallways and guest areas. In the newly designed atrium and lobby, guests will find new flooring, lounge decor and furniture, as well as a new fountain, a large screen TV, new front desk area, concierge and business center. Enhancements include more than 5,000 sq. ft. of updates to the meeting areas' floors, technology, light fixtures and furniture. The hotel's Executive and Presidential Suites have all been contemporized, with new furniture and refurbished bathroom amenities. The gym was also completely renovated with new equipment, flooring and mirrors. Additional revamps include overall structural enhancements, refurbished and modernized elevators, and a complete update to the building's facade. (4/15)
Meeting & Convention Hotel News
In Jan. 2015, the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego overlooking San Diego Bay completed a meeting space renovation, one of several planned renovations throughout the property that began in 2012. In total, 136,000 sq. ft. of meeting space was remodeled with a “California coastal” color palate, new lighting fixtures, art, architecture and audio visual technology. The Coronado meeting space, Seaport (formally known as Elizabeth Ballroom), Harbor Ballroom, America's Cup room and the 34,000-sq.-ft. Grand Hall are among the renovated areas. The construction included upgrading the Kin Spa to become the chic Marilyn Monroe Spa and turning unfinished concrete storage space on the 32nd floor into an exclusive meetings venue with amazing bay views. Lael's Breakfast Restaurant is slated to reopen at the end of April 2015 as Seaview: a dining space by day and event venue by night featuring a new patio option for outdoor dining. Renovations to Top of the Hyatt cocktail lounge with stunning views of San Diego Bay will be complete Sept. 2015. (1/15 & updated 4/15)
In Dec. 2014, Marriott Marquis San Diego & Marina broke ground on a new $107 million dollar ballroom expansion project that will add two new 36,000-sq.-ft. rooms overlooking the San Diego skyline and a 25,000-sq.-ft. outdoor terrace overlooking the bay. The renovation is expected to be complete by June 2016. (11/14)
In March 2015, Hilton San Diego Mission Valley completed a $12 million renovation including a new outdoor event deck and new onsite restaurant called Polcano Kitchen & Bar, serving Latin-style cuisine and led by executive chef Nicholas Villamil. The 350-room hotel's lobby and interior spaces have been redesigned, including a new city view executive lounge. The property's 21,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event spaces have also been renovated, adding a demonstration kitchen with retractable doors and a hot-stone granite buffet. The hotel now offers an artisan food marketplace for meals and other items available for to-go purchase, along with a Starbucks espresso bar and a new fitness center. The outdoor event and pool spaces have new furnishings and allow for alfresco dining year-round. (4/15)
Restaurants, Breweries and Nightlife
In July 2015, San Diego's Cohn Restaurant Group opens Coasterra, a new indoor/outdoor on-the-water dining venue offering banquet, wedding and event space with panoramic views of the San Diego Bay and skyline. The expansive destination event center can accommodate more than 1,000 guests on the outdoor floating event deck and over 300 seated in the banquet room. The full-service restaurant and lounge will feature the cuisine of Mexico. (4/15)
In April 2015, Catania opened on the top floor of the newly redesigned La Plaza center in La Jolla. The 3,750-sq.-ft. restaurant provides authentic Italian coastal cuisine from Executive Chef Vince Schofield, a San Francisco transplant best known for his work at Nombe, Darwin and Taco Libre. With a dedication to from-scratch cooking utilizing the freshest ingredients available, the menu features items such as yellowtail crudo with citrus, yogurt and calabrian chili, and quail spiedini with proscuitto, sage and charred treviso, and housemade pastas including squid ink and octopus spaghetti and sunchoke agnolotti. In addition, Catania serves a handful of Neapolitan-style pizzas and a selection of handcrafted desserts overseen by Whisknladle Hospitality Corporate Chef Jojo Rossi, a first generation Sicilian-American. The Italian-inspired list of signature libations includes the Signora e Signore aperol, cynar, amaro nònino, prosecco and angostura bitters and the bavende fumoso gin, sage liqueur, carpano bianco, celery and smoked olive. Catania also boasts an all-Italian selection of wine as well as draft, small and large bottle beers and their own Birra Catania. (4/15)
Slated to open in the spring of 2015, Civico 1845, situated in the heart of Little Italy in San Diego, is an authentic yet contemporary Italian restaurant that features fresh flavors and a health-conscious menu. Born and raised in Cosenza, Italy, the owners, brothers Dario and Pietro Gallo, hired head chef Alfonso Pisacane, who comes from a long line of Italian chefs from Positano, Italy. In March 2015, Cannonball reopened at Belmont Park with a recently expanded rooftop that includes a new sushi lounge enclosed with glass walls offering views of the Mission Beach Boardwalk below. Cannonball's menu offers Pacific Rim inspired share plates, beach craft cocktails and sake. Signature dishes include fried chicken bao with Korean sauce, spicy aioli, cabbage and peanuts; yellowtail tartare served with daikon, trout roe, citrus, wasabi peas, taro root and cilantro pistou; and salmon tataki with a tomatillo ponzu and jalapeno. Opened in February 2015 on Mission Bay, Oceana Coastal Kitchen features chef-driven, California comfort cuisine as well as a modern, ocean-inspired design overhaul of the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa's signature restaurant. Formerly known as The Atoll, the new Oceana Coastal Kitchen offers entrees including a tarragon shrimp salad sandwich served open-faced on toasted brioche with a Satsuma mandarin salad, as well as lighter fare options including a citrus salmon bowl with butter lettuce, tomato, avocado, and champagne vinaigrette. Alongside oysters on the half shell, an Omakase platter and a chipotle shrimp cocktail with a radish salad are part of the appetizer offerings, and the dinner menu includes hearty and wholesome entrees like the cold-smoked Niman Ranch pork chop with goat cheese grits, spiced apple and almond slaw. Set on Mission Bay, Oceana Coastal Kitchen offers stunning, unobstructed views of the water. (1/15)

From May 28–Aug. 27, 2015, every Thur. from 5-8 p.m., the Museum of Contemporary Art La Jolla offers free admission for Shore Thing, an extended-hours event on the lawn of the museum's seaside Edwards Family Sculpture Garden. Picnics are encouraged, and guests can tour the exhibit Dear Nemesis, Nicole Eisenman 1993–2013, listen to soundscapes provided by DJs from The Roots Factory Art Collective, and purchase drinks at a cash bar.
Beginning July 11−Oct. 11, 2015, the San Diego Museum of Art presents the exhibit,Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008. Composed of more than 150 objects including celebrated icons of American art and rarely seen works from public and private collections, Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008 is the first exhibition to explore Coney Island as a place and an idea. Looking at the evolution from glamorous beach playground to entertainment mecca, and the decay and neglect that followed, the works in this exhibition illuminate the contrasts between this once great place and the artifacts that remain. There are several activities that will accompany the exhibition, including Culture & Cocktails, Painting on Tap, Film in the Garden and much more. (4/15)
Now on display atThe San Diego Natural History Museum is Coast to Cactus in Southern California,an innovative, 8,000-sq.-ft. permanent exhibition that invites visitors to explore the unique habitats of Southern California, from the coastal wetlands and urban canyons to the high mountains and the desert. From June 12, 2015–Jan. 3, 2016, Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealedwill explore the fascinating social, natural, and spiritual realms of the ancient Maya through the eyes of powerful kings and queens and the lesser-known people who were the backbone of Maya society. From May 2−Sept. 7, 2015, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center presents Circus: Science under the Big Top, a family-friendly exhibition that features 20 multi-station interactive exhibits that delve into everything from clown makeup to the art of contortion to animal communication. Explore the science behind the spectacle while learning the tricks of the sword swallower, uncovering the illusion of the flea circus and discovering the psychology of common circus sounds. (4/15)
From May 14−Sept. 11, 2015, the Timken Museum of Art presents The Private World of Vermeer showcasing his masterpiece, Woman in Blue Reading a Letter. This painting is one of Vermeer's most captivating portrayals of a young woman's private world. The loan from the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam marks the first appearance of this work in San Diego. (4/15)
The Naval Training Center (NTC) Arts & Culture District in historic Liberty Station has announced the June 2015 opening of a new San Diego Comic Art Gallery (SDCAG). The gallery is located in two renovated former barracks buildings, among the first buildings constructed in 1923 for NTC San Diego. The gallery is designed to educate and engage visitors with the sequential comic book and graphic arts and features a retail space, a gallery of original art from comics and animation, and also houses actual working artists on the premises. The first installation will be a showcase of the work of local San Diego resident Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (4/15)

The Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park Summer Shakespeare series begins June 21 with Twelfth Night (through July 26), followed by A Comedy of Errors (Aug. 16−Sept. 20). The outdoor stage series includes Kiss Me Kate (July 1−Aug. 2) and Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery by Ken Ludwig (July 23−Aug. 24). (4/15)
The Summer Pops outdoor music series hosted by the San Diego Symphony at the Embarcadero Marina Park South begins with the Star Spangled Pops on July 3-5 and ends with a booming grand finale 1812 Tchaikovsky Spectacular on Sept. 4-6. Highlights of this season include TV's American Idol and Chula Vista native, Jessica Sanchez, and A Rodgers & Hammerstein Celebration, along with tributes to Frank Sinatra at 100, Hollywood, Journey, disco, big band and classical music. During Comic-Con, the Symphony presents Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions and the movie Star Trek: Into Darkness with the score performed by the San Diego Symphony. (4/15)
From July 28–Sept. 6, 2015, the La Jolla Playhouse shows the world-premiere musical Up Here, written by the husband-and-wife team of Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q) and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Off-Broadway's In Transit), who took home both the Academy and Grammy Awards for Best Song with their mega-hit “Let It Go” from the Disney animated film Frozen. Directed by Alex Timbers, Up Here is the story of an introverted 30-something computer repairman who finds a potential spark with outgoing t-shirt designer. La Jolla Playhouse's 2015 Without Walls Festival, a ground-breaking, site-specific theatre series, takes place Oct. 9-11. The centerpiece of the Festival, Healing Wars, is conceived, directed and choreographed by internationally-renowned choreographer Liz Lerman. (4/15)
Tours and Transportation
Aquatic Aviation, a watersports experience company that operates out of H&M Landing on Point Loma, offers two new water-jet-propulsion technologies that allow riders to “fly” over the water of San Diego Bay. The Flyboard uses jet nozzles under the boots to provide thrust which gives riders from ages 15 and up the ability to stand up in an "Iron Man"-style stance. The Hoverboard is made out of carbon fiber and the mechanics are similar to a snowboard, surfboard, wakeboard or longboard, designed to move in a forward motion reaching speeds up to 25 mph and heights of 30 ft. Corporate Helicopters in San Diego offers private Behind the Scenes tours visitors can schedule on demand. The Stone Flight helicopter adventure is perfect for beer lovers, farm to table foodies and flight enthusiasts. Guests start at Montgomery Field Airport, fly for an inland tour landing at Stone Brewing Co.'s Escondido brewery to enjoy a no-host lunch, beer tasting and brewery tour. The 3.5-hour tour ends with a flight along the San Diego coastline for a scenic sky tour back to Montgomery Field. (4/15)
Jetpack America on Mission Bay offers new water experiences this spring. Previously, flyers had to be at least 16 years old, but with the new Tandem Jetpack setup, flyers from 5 to 15 years of age and ranging from 50 to 125 pounds can strap to a certified instructor─much like tandem skydiving─and go for a 7-8 minute ride, flying high above the water and doing tricks like donut turns and helicopter spins. The Jetblade is a new offering that is strapped to the feet with bindings like a wakeboard. Jets attached to each foot funnel water through at a high rate of speed, allowing the pilot to reach heights of up to 30 feet. First-time flyers wear a helmet with speakers inside, and a certified instructor uses a walkie-talkie to give feedback on how to fly the Jetblade safely and effectively. (4/15)
From May-Sept. 2015, Flagship Cruises & Events, celebrating 100 years on San Diego Bay, hosts two new Friday night cruise offerings. Flagship's Hops on the Harbor beer pairing cruise features a 2 ½-hour dinner cruise complete with boarding champagne, craft beer tasting, dinner and live music. Two beer tastings are included and a full bar is available for purchase, including a rotating selection of local craft brews and beer flights. Flagship's Hops on the Harbor dinner cruise will partner with a different local brewery every month. A new Spirits at Sunset cocktail cruise commences May 22. (4/15)
Hornblower Cruises & Events San Diego offers daily Blue Whale Watchingcruises from June 27−Sept. 7, 2015, in partnership with San Diego Natural History Museum (The Nat). The four-hour ocean excursions offer the opportunity to spot whales, sea lions, dolphins and harbor seals and an exclusive look at local environmental efforts. Live narration on marine life from expert captains and volunteer naturalists from The Nat accompany the cruise, which provides views of famous San Diego landmarks. A full bar, hot snacks and souvenirs are available along with climate-controlled indoor seating. (4/15)
Oceanside, in San Diego's North Country offers a new program that allows groups, from corporate executives to athletic teams, to experience what it's like to be a firefighter for a day. The firefighter experience is the most recent addition to Visit Oceanside's popular “Hero for a Day” team building program that also includes a Navy Seal-type bootcamp and Marine-inspired activities on Camp Pendleton. The “Firefighter for a Day” experience is based at Oceanside's Command Training Center, an advanced fire training facility that is one of only a few in the nation with high-tech video simulator capabilities. At the end of the day, groups dine on Firehouse Subs and participate in a debriefing that allows them to reflect on how they can apply the team building concepts to their own workplace or organization. The Surf Diva Boutique in La Jolla completed renovations to its retail store in April 2015. The boutique serves as the base for renting SUPs, surfboards, bodyboards, beach chairs, life vests, umbrellas and wetsuits, as well as signing up for surf lessons. Changes included adding a new check-in area with an additional terminal, new awnings and paint, a new easy-access rack for rental gear, and more floor space to shop hip swimwear brands for both women and men.
