Destination NSW

Journey through a fruit-abundant rainforest, try a wine-matched degustation in Albury, hike new trails with epic coastal views, retreat to an overnight wellness stay near Jervis Bay, connect to North Coast Country through the region's native ingredients and immerse yourself in new artworks in the Riverina.

Michelin wine pairings

Travel around the world with a menu written like a travel itinerary at Glenbosch Wine Estate's new Albury restaurant, Glenbosch on Dean. The intricate degustation comes from Chris de Jongh, a chef who's spent most of his career in Michelin-starred restaurants overseas. Fill your evening with even more flavour by pairing each culinary creation with a Glenbosch wine or spirit.

Sustainable cellar door

Piccolo Family Farm's new cellar door blends Italian food and wine traditions with the terroir of the Riverina. Taste the family's four Italian grape varietals via their wine brand Lilias or book a guided tour of the farm to learn about their sustainable practices while tasting whatever's in season alongside the family wines.

Rainforest fruits

Explore 200 acres of fruit-filled Tweed paradise through Tropical Fruit World's new Private Luxury Tour. Either design your own tour with help from the hosts or let them take you on 2.5 hours of equally educational and delicious fruit feasting and rainforest exploration, with a glass of bubbles on the way.

Fish and Feast

Fish a pristine river under the morning sun then head to Orange's Printhie Dining for a five-course degustation lunch of Central West produce with matching wines in this unique fly-fishing experience from Printhie Wines. Geared towards newbies and old hands alike, you'll be provided with all the gear plus an expert in the art of fly fishing to guide you through every step.

Bushwalk bucket list

Three days and 34kms of epic coastal scenery, located near Batemans Bay – this is the experience on the new Murramarang South Coast Walk. The Pretty Beach to Maloneys Beach multi-day walk has camping and cabin packages available from 28 April.

Bundjalung dining

Experience a different side of Australia's unique ecology through its unique botany on the Bundjalung Culture & Dining Experience. Join Arakwal woman Delta Kay on a guided garden tour and taste the North Coast produce via a feast with Widjabul Wia-bul chef Mindy Woods.

Newcastle by bike

Newcastle is a city of beaches, ocean baths, distilleries, breweries, an epic lighthouse and streets painted not just with murals but with history. Newy Rides' new Newcastle Essentials three-hour-tour shows you it all, then finishes at a local institution for lunch.

Riverina art upgrade

The Museum of the Riverina Botanic Gardens has undergone an $8.6-million-dollar transformation- delivering an immersive, educational and unique experience of Wagga Wagga for all ages. Delve into life on the Murray, Wiradjuri culture, local sporting heroes and Wagga's storied history.

Tropical botany

Discover a dazzling mix of orchids, bromeliads and ferns alongside extraordinary and rare plants from Indonesia and Malaysia at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden new glasshouse. Outside the glasshouse find an arid landscape, a fernery and seasonal flower beds.

Winter Wellness

Paperbark Camp's new series of Curated Wellness Retreats are an opportunity to ignore the winter winds and melt your worries away by sinking into a bath, stretching out to a yoga session or tackling worries head on in a life coaching session. The Jervis Bay retreats also include glamping and additional activities like Aboriginal cultural experiences and kayaking the local river.

Vivid country skies

Internationally renowned Swiss artist Dan Acher will transform your Southern Highlands trip to a night in the Arctic, with Borealis in the Vines, a spectacular Northern Lights-inspired installation at Centennial Vineyards. The immersive artwork uses sound, the environment and light to create a unique experience just near Bowral.
