Spy: Espionage in Australia opens

This month a new exhibition has opened featuring personal experiences of secret agents and the curious history of espionage and counter-espionage in Australia from Federation due to present day.

See genuine spy equipment, surveillance images and candid interviews with ASIO officers.  There's also a connection to James Bond right here in Ipswich with the inspiration behind the books Sidney Cotton growing up at Hidden Vale Homestead and his ashes reside in the Tallegalla Cemetery.

There's also two cool trails for the kids to do when they visit.

Racehorse launches new menus for the Summer months

New Grillhouse, sports bar and cocktail menus will be available from November 9.  On the menu is street food like crispy chicken BAO, fried fish tacos, chilli salt squid and Korean fried chicken. As well as clean and green options including roast pumpkin curry, umami burgers, budddah bowls and more!

Queensland Drag Racing Championships

The Queensland Drag Racing Championship presented by Lifestyle Injury Lawyers and the Archers Smash Repairs Street Series Finals will take place at Willowbank Raceway on November 20. Come and see the Queensland Drag Racing Championship and Street Series finals crowned at Willowbank Raceway, as they fight it out to become the champion of the 2021 season.  The Queensland Drag Racing Championships presented by Lifestyle Injury Lawyers brings racers from all across the state to compete for a prestigious QDRC trophy and Track Champion status at Willowbank Raceway, delivering high-octane action for both racers and spectators. 

All Sportsman Brackets will compete including Supercharged Outlaws, Supercomp, Comp Bike, Modified, Top Sportsman, Super Sedan, Super Street, Modified Bike and Junior Dragster. With over 150 Drag Racing cars and bikes racing off against each other giving hours of exciting viewing for spectators.   Also, check out the action of the Archers Smash Repairs Street Series with the finalists competing for the Track Champion 2021 across the field of OldSkool, NewSkool, Powder Puff and Street Bike.  Walk around the Pits as the teams prepare for their next round and get a close up view of these speed machines.
