Celebrate Christmas in Ipswich

This Christmas we're celebrating all month with events, markets and lights!

• City tree

The City Christmas Tree is being turned on at 6.45pm on Friday December 3.  There will be performances and a visit from Santa from 6.30pm in d'Arcy Doyle Place.

• St Nicholas Precinct. This year a spectacular lights display will evoke the spirit of the season in the Nicholas St Precinct.  There will be an experiential atmosphere of lights, colour and magical moments from December 10-19.
• Lights Competition

The annual Christmas lights competition is back and winner are set to be announced December 10 at the St Nicholas Precinct.

• Santa on tour

Santa will be on tour with the Mt Forbes Rural Fire Service on December 10-12 and 17-19 stopping at parks and playgrounds around the Ipswich region.
