Considered the most significant event in the global yachting calendar, the Monaco Yacht Show will make a welcome return this year to Port Hercule from 22 to 25 September. Bringing together an outstanding display of superyachts, yachting services and respected shipyards, industry professionals will once again have the opportunity to showcase all elements of the luxury yachting lifestyle to their global clients.

With specific focus on delivering a positive and engaging experience, there will be two new exhibitions. The first, at Quai l'Hirondelle, will be a dedicated sailing yacht area highlighting the merits of sail with an opportunity to talk with experts, while the second presents an exciting Yacht Design and Innovation Hub exhibition, showcasing new build projects and the designer gallery. Following the cancellation of the 2020 show due to Covid-19, there will be an emphasis on enhancing the event experience for prospective yacht owners and charterers, alongside extensive health protocols in place to safeguard all concerned.

The Ocean Independence team will be in attendance throughout the week, with some 25 members available to discuss all yachting services, together with a strong presence from our partners at Credit Suisse. Available both for sale and charter, AZZURRA II will be available to view during the show, based at berth S15 and centralised as the team base. In addition the popular Ocean Independence tenders will be on hand to facilitate yacht visits for clients to several yachts in our fleet attending at anchor. 

Despite the late start to the season and series of curtailments due to Covid-19 restrictions, Ocean Independence are delighted to announce that as of 1 September 2021 their charter revenue figures have now exceeded that of 2019. Highly encouraging news in a climate of challenges and testament to the tenacity of our outstanding brokers. The yacht sales and purchase market continues to perform very strongly resulting in new build delivery times getting longer in many cases and brokerage stocks are low. Therefore, if you do find that near perfect yacht, do not hesitate too much.
