Self- catering holidays in the UK have long been considered the better value option for family or couples holidays. But recently this has been brought into question by both tempting budget travel offers abroad and, more significantly, the rise in fuel prices eating into any savings made. So leading holiday cottage operator Toad Hall Cottages has come up with a unique solution to entice holidaymakers to the South West this autumn; they are paying for holiday-makers petrol.
The company's 'We Pay Your Petrol' offer provides holidaymakers with a pre-paid fuel card that can be used in any UK petrol station to cover the cost of getting to their cottage.
Fuel prices have risen by 3p per litre since July so this offer couldn't come at a better time and autumn is a lovely season in the West Country with the weather still mild but beaches and roads less busy. The easy to use fuel card is pre-paid by Toad Hall Cottages with the limit determined by the cost of the cottage rental (from £50 up to £150) and will arrive by post once a confirmed booking is made. The offer is available with bookings made during September and October.
