Water Babies At Sani Resort

Baby Swimming Lessons Are Launched At Sani Resort, Greece

The opportunity for babies and toddlers to learn a new skill on holiday has just become even easier at the 1000 acre luxury eco reserve of Sani Resort, Greece. Set on the Halkidiki peninsula of mainland Greece, Sani Resort is excited to be extending their offerings for the 2013 season, with the introduction of new baby swimming lessons for their young guests aged between 6 months and 4 years old.

Young babies are naturally at home in the water, and building confidence and learning how to start swimming from a young age is an important part of their development. During the new swimming sessions, babies and toddlers will be guided around the pool by one of their parents, the perfect way for babies and adults to relax into the lesson. As part of the programme, babies will learn how to swim above and below the water, a core skill to learn from a young age.

The new baby swimming lessons will be taking place in the warm indoor pool of MySpa at Sani Beach Hotel. The lessons are carried out by certified and experienced swimming instructors, who have put together a five day programme of specialised methods for toddlers and babies aged between six months and four years old.

For parents and babies alike, this is a fantastic social opportunity for interaction between parent and baby, and for toddlers to socialise each other. Parents will see their baby’s excitement at being in the water, and enjoy watching their confidence grow as the classes progress. Once the programme has been completed, parents will have the skills themselves to continue building their baby’s confidence in the water, whether they take them to one of the many outdoor pools or the 9km of calm shallow beach at Sani Resort.

The perfect spot for a family holiday, Sani Resort is home to four five star hotels. Many fun and quirky initiatives are in place to enhance the Sani Resort family holiday experience, including ‘babe watch’ on the beach – where babies can be supervised for thirty minutes on the beach by Sani Resort’s child care professionals, allowing parents some time to go for a swim. The experts in seamless family holidays, young children will have the opportunity to learn other skills at Sani Resort, whether it’s riding a bike for the first time, taking part in some tennis coaching or shooting and scoring at the new football academy.

Each swimming programme at Sani Resort includes five sessions, taking place from a Monday to Friday between 10 am and 12pm, for 30 minutes per session. Each session lasts 30 minutes and costs €15 per baby.

Sani Resort (www.saniresort.gr; 0030 23740 99500) offers nightly rates in Sani Beach Hotel from €126 per room per night.
