Washington, DC Celebrates 50th Anniversary Of The Beatles' First Concert In North America

Tommy Roe, who was among the original opening acts in 1964, has also just been signed to open for Beatlemania Now. 

There will be an exhibit of photographer Mike Mitchell's iconic photos of the 1964 concert (he was an 18 year old freelancer at the time) and a short documentary to be shown before the concert which will include interviews with audience members and original photos.
