Washington, DC Area Hotels Celebrate the Greatest Generation with Speceial Summer Packages

As visitors head to Washington , DC this summer to see the city's newest attraction, the National World War II Memorial, hotels throughout the capital region will offer special rates and added incentives. Through " America Celebrates the Greatest Generation" packages, summer visitors can take advantage of the World War II-themed programming while saving on accommodations at a wide range of properties.

Visitors who purchase " America Celebrates the Greatest Generation" packages will receive:

A special limited edition DVD of Steven Spielberg's Academy Award-winning Saving Private Ryan (while supplies last).
An official guide to all " America Celebrates the Greatest Generation" events.

Capital Hilton: To commemorate the end of WWII, guests will receive a special $19.45 credit towards Twigs, the hotel's restaurant, as well as a free Metro pass. Rates start at $125.

Carlyle Suites Hotel: Includes accommodations and free breakfast for two, starting at $99 per night.

The Churchill Hotel: The Metro Tour DC package includes one night accommodation for two with full American breakfast, Metro passes and cookies & milk. Rates start at $139 per night.
