Taipei, Taiwan – (July 12, 2013) W Taipei is bringing in the latest fashion trends to the dining table by offering an exclusive afternoon tea experience of - “Fashion, Color, Print” Summer 2013 collection in the kitchen table restaurant. “Fashion, Color, Print” Afternoon Tea designed by our Sweetologist Chef Ponytail is served daily from 3pm- 5pm (Sunday from 3:30pm-5pm) priced at TWD1,400+10% per set (for two) including selected premium tea & coffee, 6 kinds of savories and sweets on the stand, 3 kinds cold- and 4 kinds of hot canapés made a la minute.
“Fashion is one of W’s passion points,” shared Vivian Lin, Director of Beverage and Food of W Taipei. “The afternoon tea in the kitchen table is definitely loved by the ladies in town, they come to enjoy the delicacies as well as the time with their family and friends. Hence, the restaurant becomes their stage to express their fashion statements. It feels like attending fashion show everyday working here.”
The kitchen table is famous for the bright yellow and white hues with lofted spacious happy atmosphere. The restaurant is adjacent to the al fresco dining area with a barbeque station and WET -swimming pool which make people feel as if they are sitting at the south beach on a vacation.
“We serve everything but the ordinary!” shared W Taipei Sweetologist Chef Ponytail. The afternoon tea design was inspired by this summer’s fashion trends –“bright colors & daring prints.” For example, the “Chocolate, banana lollipops, meringue” on the stand is as if a piece of Andy Warhol’s, while the leopard print “Cake roll, chestnut confit, orange cream” is going to be all the leopard mania’s new favorite. Other in-style pastries with fresh fruit ingredients, mouth-watering seafood and bite-sized savory treats are not only visually attractive but as well delicious indeed.
