- Vogue Australia to join speaker line-up at The Travel Bootcamp

August 30 2019: Vogue Australia’s Mark Sariban is announced as the latest addition to The Travel Bootcamp’s speaker line-up ahead of the upcoming October event.
The experienced travel editor will be flying direct from Sydney, Australia to join the team in Queenstown, New Zealand.
“We’re pleased to be welcoming Mark to The Travel Bootcamp line-up,” said Bootcamp co-founder, Georgia Rickard. “Vogue Australia is Australia’s most read fashion media brand and is well respected in the international media community. Mark’s knowledge of travel reportage, and approach to editing through the prism of a different industry vertical will provide valuable industry insights.”

Joining the travel editor as a guest-speaker will be National Geographic USA’s Sarah Polger and recently appointed MC, well-known New Zealand travel media personality and GoPro ambassador, Kyle Mulinder.
They'll be joined on stage by event co-founders, industry experts: award-winning journalist, and Virgin Australia editor at large Georgia Rickard, Australia’s first professional Instagrammer Lauren Bath and leading female travel blogger Liz Carlson.
Global press wire service TravMedia, Australia’s largest booking site Stayz and well-known camera brand Olympus have also recently been announced as event sponsors.
More announcements are expected to follow shortly.
About The Travel Bootcamp
The Travel Bootcamp, held across a long weekend, fuses principles of traditional and new media, teaching the best industry practices for modern travel storytelling.
The Bootcamp attracts an international audience of writers, photographers, influencers and other travel professionals. Previous attendees have included publicists Yvette Peverell and Cynthia Dammerer, journalists Megan Blandford and Celeste Mitchell and Queensland tourism ambassadors Mark Fitzpatrick and Jesse Lindeman.
The Queenstown event is scheduled to take place between Friday October 4th and Sunday October 5th.
