Düsseldorf-based river cruise operator, VIVA Cruises, is celebrating its five-year anniversary this year, commemorated with an exclusive birthday cruise on board their first build ship, VIVA ONE, with a 5% discount and free excursions on offer.

VIVA Cruises was founded in 2018 as the first river cruise of Swiss shipping company, Scylla AG. Since then, it has grown rapidly. Guests can join in on the celebrations with a special birthday cruise on board VIVA ONE. The '5 years VIVA Cruises' will run from 24 June to 1 July 2023, starting in Düsseldorf and continuing into Amsterdam, Hoorn, Rotterdam, Brussels, Antwerp and Nijmegen. The special cruise will feature anniversary surprises and six included shore excursions. These will include visiting A'DAM Lookout – an observation deck with unrivalled panoramic view over Amsterdam; discovering the largest chocolate museum in the world in Antwerp's 'Chocolate Nation'; and experiencing Rotterdam's iconic market hall.

Along with the extensive excursion package included, guests that book by 15 May 2023 will benefit from a five per cent anniversary discount along with free car park or a train ticket to Düsseldorf for those travelling by car or train.
