Journalists attending the TravMedia International Media Marketplace on January 26 in New York City will be the first to hear about West Hollywood's new brand, see the delicious new website components, and get a glimpse of the new ad campaign. The tag line, "No apologies offered -- or required" sets the tone of this intriguing, unleash-the-imagination brand which will revealed more in the fashion sense of "unzipped" instead of marketing's traditional launch.
Visit West Hollywood's sassy branding teases out WeHo's best attributes. It's sunny, with a temperate climate; it's impervious to beach fog. It's welcoming and accepting, with visitors making up about 25% of it's daily population, and home to the Abbey, the most popular and iconic gay bar in the U.S. (just 32 years after the infamous 'Fagots Stay Out' sign was finally removed from a local bar.) It's simultaneously hedonistic and healthy--with cold press juice bars, walkable 1.9 square miles of manicured neighborhoods and world-famous music strip, spin classes, al fresco yoga and roottop pools and tennis courts.
