SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Visit Sacramento has announced that it plans to bring back Farm to Fork this fall, signaling the return of one of the West Coast's most-anticipated major event series. Running from Sept. 9 through 18, Farm-to-Fork is set to include Legends of Wine, the Tower Bridge Dinner and the Farm-to-Fork Festival on Capitol Mall. Specific details and ticket information for each event will be released later this summer in accordance with state and public health guidelines.

Now in the eighth year, Visit Sacramento's Farm-to-Fork events had to be postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19. Farm-to-Fork has grown to become a monthlong series of events that attract visitors from across the country. For the first time, Visit Sacramento will host the Tower Bridge Dinner and the Farm-to-Fork Festival on separate weekends, allowing more opportunities for the region's chefs, farmers and culinary workers to participate in both events. The 2021 Farm-to-Fork schedule includes:

  • Legends of Wine, Sept. 9, 2021: Tasting evening on the grounds of the California State Capitol, celebrating the incredible wines of the greater Sacramento region
  • The Tower Bridge Dinner, Sept. 12, 2021: One of the country's most coveted dining experiences, with a team of elite chefs and regional farmers serving an unforgettable meal atop Tower Bridge. *Registration for the random drawing for the chance to purchase public tickets will open July 15 on farmtofork.com. The 2021 lead chef team will be announced in the coming weeks.
  • The Farm-to-Fork Festival, Sept. 17 & 18, 2021: Unmatched outdoor festival showcasing the tastes, sights, sounds and experiences that can only be found in Northern California – and the opportunity to meet the people who make Sacramento America's Farm-to-Fork Capital. The 2021 event will again include a two-day concert series and remain admission-free. Vendor applications for the 2021 Street Festival will be available July 1 on farmtofork.com.

“Farm-to-Fork has become much more than an event in Sacramento,” said Visit Sacramento President and CEO Mike Testa. “Over the last eight years, our events have become this beloved time that everyone gets together to celebrate this region. Our chefs look forward to collaborating outside of their own kitchens, our residents mark their calendars for it every year, and people across the country make plans to come and experience it for themselves. We are thrilled to bring that joy and celebration back in a time when it may mean more than ever before.”

More information about the 2021 Farm-to-Fork events l will be released at farmtofork.com and on @VisitSacramento's social media platforms. Farm-to-Fork will be sponsored by UC Davis Health, Save Mart, Five Star Bank and XXXXX. Visit Sacramento started the Farm-to-Fork Festival in 2013 after the region was declared America's Farm-to-Fork Capital. The 2019 Farm-to-Fork Festival attracted more than 155,000 people, and more than 1,000 people registered for the chance to purchase public tickets to the 2019 Tower Bridge Dinner.
