Palafrugell Tourism board is delighted to be attending TravMedia's IMM at the QEII Centre, London on 12 March 2018.
Did you ever hear about Palafrugell and its beaches? If not, you are missing one of the most privileged spots in Spain! Palafrugell is a hidden area at the heart of the Costa Brava: 100km south from the Pyrenees and only 120km north from Barcelona, it is ideally located between the sea and the hinterland.
Palafrugell brings together sea, nature, tradition, stunning views and wild landscapes with its beach towns of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu. The town offers the main cultural and commercial activity; with a city centre accessible only on foot, the area around the church and the old walls offer a peaceful stroll along shops, bars, restaurants, museums and art foundations.
Nice weather with mild temperatures, excellent gastronomy, markets, hundreds of paths to get lost walking or cycling between the mountains and the beach, events all year round and plenty of other activities to enjoy the area.
Every year, Palafrugell and its beaches welcome thousands of tourists, being the UK on the 4th position at the ranking of visiting countries, but they still want more, specially out of the highest season (from mid July to end of August)!
This will be Palafrugell's first year attending IMM, with the aim of meeting travel journalists from across the UK to briefly introduce them the destination. Media interested in visiting for future press coverage on the area can be attended afterwards to work together on a press trip proposal with the Catalan Tourism Board, which will be also attending the IMM.
