VISIT FLORIDA Partners with Telemundo & La Voz Kids to Reach Key Hispanic Markets

TALLAHASSEE, FL VISIT FLORIDA announces the second year of a highly successful partnership with the Telemundo Station Group in unison with Alanis Sophia, a Floridian and finalist of La Voz Kids, one of the most popular programs in Spanish-language television.

In this innovative partnership, VISIT FLORIDA will align with Telemundo's nationally recognized show through media buys on Telemundo stations in four key Hispanic markets that include New York (WNJU), Houston (KTMD), Dallas (KXTX) and Chicago (WSNS). The vignettes will air during the third season of La Voz Kids, which is set to premier in 2015.

Alanis Sophia, a resident of the Sunshine State and finalist of La Voz Kids 2013, stars in VISIT FLORIDA's marketing for a second year by performing vignettes and promoting Florida tourism via her social media channels.

“Alanis' singing is a positive force that will inspire viewers to visit our beautiful state,” said Susannah Costello, Vice President of Global Brand for VISIT FLORIDA. “We believe that La Voz Kids fans will feel motivated to visit Florida to see what Alanis is passionately singing about.”

Last year's partnership with La Voz Kids earned 15 million impressions on television, 2.5 million impressions digitally and raised awareness via social media channels to position Florida as the world's top vacation destination. The third season of La Voz Kids is slated to premiere in 2015. The official date and time will be announced by Telemundo Network.
