- Vietnam Airlines' efforts to bring customers the best service quality in line with its prestigious 4-Star ranking from Skytrax has been recognised at this year's World Travel Awards with two awards: World's Leading Cultural Airline and World's Leading Airline - Premium Economy Class at a glittering Grand Final Gala Ceremony on the 10 October 2017. The awards were received by Mr Le Hong Ha, Vietnam Airlines' Executive Vice President.

This year, Vietnam Airlines also ranked 14th among the 20 best premium class airlines in the world by Skytrax. Vietnam Airlines' Premium Economy class is available for both Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350 on routes between Vietnam and the UK, France, Germany, Australia and Japan, offering generous legroom as well as spacious reclining seats, bringing supreme comfort. Priority on-the-ground assistance is available to Premium Economy passengers, saving them time with seat selection, check-in, baggage handling and gate boarding. From 2018, fast track services for Premium Economy passengers, including priority security and immigration lanes, will be available at several Vietnamese as well as international airports.

Vietnam Airlines' 4-star services are characterized by a distinctive touch of Vietnam's enchanting traditional culture. From 'Pho' – a tasty traditional dish served on board to the 'Ao dai' worn by cabin crew and the signature Golden Lotus logo, passengers can easily recognize Vietnam's most iconic features in the airline's products and services, both in-flight and on-the-ground.
