Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi is delighted to announce the appointment of Paula Tannous as Director of Sales and Marketing of the 499-bedroom property, part of the luxury lifestyle Viceroy Hotel Group. Tannous will be responsible for strategy development and internal operations, including all restaurants, MICE spaces and hotel facilities.

Combining focused leadership with a passion for excellence and an understanding of the local market, Tannous will play a key role in all events and promotional activity taking place in and around the property, including the forthcoming Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Tannous comments, “I'm delighted to be heading up such a vibrant and hardworking team for such a prestigious property in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting time for Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, with exciting plans in place for 2016 and with the current preparations for F1- I'm honoured to be part of this journey.”

Australian-born Tannous brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and revenue management. Tannous joins Viceroy Yas Abu Dhabi from Novotel & Ibis World Trade Centre Dubai where she held the position of Complex Director of Sales and Marketing.

After several years working in the revenue and reservation management team with Accor, Tannous relocated to Dubai in 2008 as Central Reservations Manager for Accor Hospitality Central Services. She subsequently joined Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa as Director of Sales and Marketing and later, Executive Assistant Manager

Additionally, Tannous holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from TAFE Queensland in Australia and is also currently pursuing her Master's degree in Marketing and Innovation from Glion University, Switzerland.
