Veranda Pointe Aux Biches in Mauritius has reopened as a four-star hotel, after undergoing a three-month renovation. The new-look resort relaunched at the end of August with freshly redesigned interiors and improved facilities.
The hotel, previously three-star, has a totally new tropical-chic look and an even stronger barefoot concept. Upon arrival, guests are able to remove their shoes as sand lines the floors of the hotel's public areas. This allows guests to feel relaxed and at home in an informal, exotic setting. Veranda Pointe Aux Biches is one of the few hotels in Mauritius to boast this unique 'barefoot chic' theme.
The bedrooms have also been redesigned as 'Tropical Cocoons'. Freshly remodelled and decorated in royal blue shades with touches of light wooden elements, each room features a terrace or a balcony overlooking the lagoon or the tropical gardens.
