Utah launches new itineraries at WTM:

Star Studded Film Tour and Dinosaur Tour

The Utah Office of Tourism has a delegation of five representatives from Utah on their stand, NA350 at World Travel Market this year and they will be launching two new itineraries to tour operators and travel agents – a Star Studded Film Tour itinerary and a Dinosaur Tour of Utah. They will also be highlighting the Mighty 5 campaign, which features the state's five national parks - Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef and Zion.

The new Star Studded Film Tour includes Utah's five national parks and some of Utah's 43 state parks where many famous 'big screen' films were shot, from the early days of film making in the 1920's to current day.  With over 900 films shot in Utah, it's truly a star-studded state.

Utah is also known as one of the world's most significant places for paleontology with 20 plus new species of dinosaurs uncovered every year. The Dinosaur Tour includes national parks and some lesser-known corners of the state, visiting massive dinosaur footprints, a wall of dinosaur bones at the Dinosaur National Monument, digs and museums.

Utah will also provide updates on major new ski resort developments including the link between Canyons and Park City to create the largest ski area in the USA for next season and Ski City USA – the rebranding of Salt Lake this winter. They will also offer updates on One Wasatch, a concept to link the seven resorts that would give Utah 18,000 acres of skiing with around 100 lifts and 200 plus ski runs.
