US Airways today announced four new GoFares(R) markets for Washington, D.C.-area customers, offering simplified fares as low as $89* each way, available immediately, to and from Albany, Buffalo and Rochester, N.Y., and Charleston, S.C.

US Airways' Washington-Albany, Buffalo and Rochester GoFares start as low as $89* each way in Coach Class, with last-minute fares as low as $139* each way. Washington-Charleston, S.C., GoFares begin at $99* each way, with last- minute fares available as low as $149* each way. The lowest fares require a 14-day advance purchase.

"Upstate New York is really turning a corner when it comes to low-fare air service. When companies consider which region to locate their business in, they often look at the air service options," said U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer. "Up until a few years ago people complained there was no way to fly here at a reasonable rate. That has now changed dramatically."
