The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the holiday season in style and luxury this December with a unique range of offerings and festive events. The Teddy Bear Tea includes a teddy bear workshop, Christmas tales reading with Santa Claus and cake decoration. The Hotel Lobby will host a giant Gingerbread house overlooked by the Christmas tree in The Lobby Lounge. The decadent Christmas Day Brunch is a feast in itself - the perfect way to celebrate - and the Boxing Day Eggnog Sunday Roast promises no end to the merriment. Lastly, continue celebrating the New Year with sparkling wine and good food for breakfast on January 1.

The Hotel Wing Lobby hosts a giant - life-sized - Gingerbread House over the month of December. Big enough to fit a grown adult, and surrounded by all sorts of goodies and treats for the children - a magical welcome to the hotel. The Lobby Lounge features the magnificent Christmas Tree, which adds a cosy and seasonal atmosphere to the warm and luxurious ambience.

The third annual Teddy Bear Tea will be held at Carlton Gourmet on December 11, 2010 which promises to be a fun-filled day for children with activities such as a Teddy Bear Workshop, Christmas tales reading with Santa Claus and cake decoration with the hotel's Pastry Chef. Parents and children alike are able to savour the delectable Afternoon Tea spread that will be specially created for the day. The adults' menu includes items such as winter truffle scented Wagyu beef brochette, wild berry cr�me br�l�e, butter poached Maine lobster quiche, with the children's menu featuring goodies such as teddy's gummy bears and lollies, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, teddy smiles cream cookies and much more.

Carlton Gourmet will be transformed into a teddy bear haven accompanied by Christmas decorations. Children will be given their very own teddy bears to personalise during the Teddy Bear Workshop. They fill their bears according to its huggability, place a wishing heart message in the bear and have fun with creative fabric painting on teddy's T-shirt. They also get to name their bears and have them inscribed on the birth certificates which will be presented to them by Santa Claus. The children are able to bring their teddy bears home with them. They are then transformed into young chefs as they decorate their own cakes with a selection of toppings that they can choose from and bring home his or her very own self-designed cake.

As a special treat, the hotel will provide a children's Push-Chair Valet Service, whereby the parents simply leave the push-chair with the Valet Service Team who will 'drive' them to the 'Push-Chair Car Park'. Complimentary, easy and hassle-free, they will be returned on departure.

The Ritz-Carlton will hold its Teddy Bear Tea on December 11, 2010 (Saturday) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm and is priced at RM130++ for one adult and RM70++ per child under 12, with free flow of coffee and tea as well as hot chocolate for the children.

From December 24, The Ritz-Carlton is offering a special package for the Festive period. Spend Christmas with friends and family in a two or three bedroom suite at The Ritz-Carlton. Wake up on Christmas morning to a light breakfast as the family unwraps gifts from their stockings. Then, come mid-day, let your personal butler serve the lavish five-course Christmas Lunch, featuring a lobster starter, traditional holiday turkey and Christmas pudding. The Christmas at The Ritz-Carlton package is available from December 24 to 31, 2010 and is priced at RM1,200++ per night for four guests in a Two Bedroom Suite and RM1,600++ per night for five guests in a Three Bedroom Suite. Prices are inclusive of breakfast on Christmas morning and Christmas Lunch on December 25.

C�sar's will host The Ritz-Carlton Christmas Brunch on December 25. A feast of foods from all corners of the globe - from Alaskan king crab to Italian asparagus risotto - the centrepiece being the whole leg of veal cooked to perfection along with the aged U.S. Black Angus prime rib smothered in rich bone marrow gravy. Of course Christmas would not be the same without the traditional roast turkey, complete with chestnut stuffing, Cumberland chipolatas and roast gravy. Don't forget to leave room for the dessert buffet featuring tiramisu, cr�me br�l�e and warm Christmas pudding.

Located on Level One, C�sar's, with its relaxed ambience and open 'theatre' kitchen, is the perfect place to enjoy Christmas with friends and family. The Ritz-Carlton Christmas Brunch is served from 11.45am to 3.00pm on December 25, 2010 (Saturday) and is priced at RM170++ per adult and RM85++ per child under 12.

Another festive tradition that will be held at the hotel is the Eggnog Sunday Roast on Boxing Day. Designed to whet your appetite and rekindle the spirit of Christmas, the Eggnog Sunday Roast is a sumptuous spread that includes turkey with trimmings, prime rib of beef, marinated Norwegian salmon, hundreds of multi-coloured macaroons and, of course, cinnamon spiced Eggnog. The Lobby Lounge, with its sophisticated ambience and three-piece jazz band, is the ideal place to laze-away the Boxing Day afternoon.

The Eggnog Roast is served between 11.30am and 3.00pm on December 26, 2010 (Sunday) in The Lobby Lounge and is priced at RM130++ per person and RM65++ per child under 12.

Finally, make your first meal of 2011 memorable at the New Year's Day Brunch in C�sar's on January 1. Sit back, relax and choose from a variety of table-side trolleys such as the 'North Sea Trolley' serving fresh oysters, crabs, lobster and prawns, and the 'Caesar's Trolley' featuring a live salad station.
