TripAdvisor® announced today their annual Travellers' Choice Awards for Best Beaches 2014. Siesta Key Public Beach and Lido Beach in Sarasota County, Florida were in the top 25 beaches on the US list. Siesta Beach earned top honours in Florida and third in the US behind two beaches in Hawaii.  Lido Beach was #22 on the list.

Siesta Beach has been recognized for its beautiful sand and clam surf for several years. In 2011, Dr. Beach named it the "#1 Beach in America." More recently it was rated a "Top 10 Family Beach" in 2013 by National Geographic Traveller, and one of Conde Naste's Traveller's top white sand beaches in Florida earlier this year.
