Snow conditions ahead of Spring are looking magnificent following fresh snowfalls and additional snowmaking runs. At this rate, with almost one metre of snow falling over the past ten days, the term 'Spring is King' may ring true in the mountains this year.
Skiers and riders wanting to make the most of the snow can 'Save in Spring' with the two resort Spring Pass, valid at Falls Creek and Hotham Alpine Resorts in North-East Victoria.
On sale today from 5pm (25 August 2013), the Spring Pass offers great value for adults and kids with access to over 750 hectares of terrain and more than 150 trails.
Francis Jackson, General Manager of Falls Creek Ski Lifts said; "The Spring Pass is a great way to enjoy our mountains as adults only need to ski or ride for 5 days and they are already ahead. Every other day is a bonus."
For 2013 it's a price freeze with the Spring Pass at $499 for adults and $299 for children, the same price as 2012. The pass is valid for access at both resorts from Saturday 31 August through to the end of the season on 29 September 2013.
General Manager of Hotham Skiing Company, Belinda Trembath, said, "We encourage everyone to head up and enjoy Spring in the mountains. All our lifts are open across both the resorts and conditions are excellent for everyone from the seasoned skier to a family taking their first snow holiday."
