Tulipmania at PIER 39

SAN FRANCISCO – (February 2015) – PIER 39 is popping with color as more than 39,000 tulip bulbs blossom throughout The PIER during Tulipmania, February 14 – 22. The public is invited to enjoy a variety of tulip species, including Double tulips, Fringed tulips, Lily flowered tulips, Parrot tulips and many more, by taking a free self-guided tour anytime during Tulipmania. Download the tour at pier39.com/tulipmania.

The public can also learn helpful gardening tips by taking free guided Tulipmania tours led by a member of PIER 39's Landscaping Team. The guided tours begin daily at 10am at the Crab Statue in PIER 39's Entrance Plaza and conclude with complimentary refreshments at Pier Market Seafood Restaurant.
