In a proud tradition, 79 Best Western hotels in Australia and New Zealand have been awarded TripAdvisor's 2016 Certificate of Excellence.

51% of Best Western properties in Australasia received a Certificate of Excellence, up from 46% in 2015. In the company's best performance since the awards began six years ago, this result demonstrates the brand's commitment to ensuring an exceptional guest stay each and every time.

“We are immensely proud to have over half of our member hotels receive this honour,” said Best Western Australasia's Head of Commercial, Steve Richards.

“These awards truly represent the voice of the guest. The next instalment of our I Care program, Every Guest Every Time, continues to place emphasis on exceeding our guests' expectations,” he said.

Globally, more than 1,800 of Best Western's 4,000 hotels received the TripAdvisor accolade in 2016.

The achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, hotels must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five.
