TravMedia Asia's annual flagship event returns to Singapore on 16 October 2018, conveniently timed to coincide with ITB Asia, as the industry converges on Singapore to network and share ideas within this top source market.

Now in its third year, IMM Asia, the leading event for regional and international brands in the tourism sector to meet A-list media, is set for another record-breaking year. Brand USA continues their headline sponsorship for the third consecutive year with exciting new additions to the program.

TravMedia's globally popular annual program creates an unrivalled networking and relationship-building opportunities for journalists and travel brands to meet in one central place to conduct 24 one-on-one meetings.

In 2017 IMM Asia attracted 130 international tourism organizations and travel media, with exhibitors including: AccorHotels, Brand USA, Finnair, IHG, Luxury Lodges of Australia Ltd, Monaco Government Tourism Office Asia, Qantas Airways, Scoot, The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villas - Nusa Dua Bali, Tourism Australia, Visit Finland, Wyndham Hotel Group, and the list goes on. The event sold out well in advance, prompting TravMedia to advise customers to book their 2018 places early, to avoid disappointment.

Exhibitors attending IMM enjoy a dedicated branded table from which to brief leading travel journalists, editors and broadcasters during 15-minute one-on-one pre-scheduled meetings, designed to provide media with everything from feature ideas to press trip opportunities. Exhibitors at IMM 2018 will also benefit from exposure via social media in the lead-up, during and post IMM, pre-event communications and 'Update' notifications shared on TravMedia.

Last year's event attracted editors and senior writers from more than 60 titles – including national and metropolitan newspapers, glossy magazines, trade publications, and digital platforms – including South China Morning Post, Tatler, Billionaire, Hong Kong Economic Journal – Lifestyle Journal, Lifestyle Asia, Ink, Silkroad, Silverkris, Silkwinds, Quintessentially, The Straits Times, New Strait Times, TTG Asia, CEI Asia, and contributors to Condé Nast Traveller, Travel + Leisure, CNN.com, BBC.com, Discovery, DestinAsian, Forbes, Prestige, New York Times, and Huffington Post, to name just a few.

ROI is guaranteed, as meetings can be pre-booked via the IMM's Meetings Manager site, with 3,300 appointments made for IMM 2017 and more than 50,000 one-on-one meetings facilitated globally since IMM started in 2013. Journalists can either pre-schedule meetings or visit exhibitor tables throughout the day.

Nick Wayland, TravMedia's CEO and Founder, said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Singapore due to popular demand. This year we have integrated exhibitor feedback to expand our target media countries to now include key source markets of China, India, Japan, and Korea, in addition to our existing target regions of Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia."

Exhibitors and journalists know they can generate a year's worth of leads from IMM. Our goal for 2018 is to deliver another record-breaking event, with an expanded media delegation from across Asia, combined with quality business exchanges made possible during the various networking opportunities throughout the day.”

The venue to host this year's IMM Asia event will be announced in May 2018.
