Travelodge Launches Revolutionary Online Search Facility

Travelodge, the UK�s number one budget hotel brand, today launches a revolutionary search tool facility on its website www.travelodge.co.uk which provides clarity on identifying all available rooms within the UK at the low-cost rate of �26 and �46*(Central London).

This new search service will allow customers to find all Travelodge hotels that have a �26 / �46 room rate at a glance; and if their preferred hotel is not available at this particular rate, at the time they would like to travel, up to twenty nearest hotel options will be provided at the same rate.

Guy Parsons, Travelodge Sales and Marketing Director said: �Travelodge pioneered the introduction of the budget airline low-cost model into the UK hotel industry last year. We received a fantastic response to our new online pricing rate, but the biggest gripe our customers had, was they could not always easily find a �26 or �46 rate when they needed it. In order to deliver the best service to our customers we have launched the first bargain hunter search tool, so that more of our customers can enjoy low-cost hotel accommodation than ever before. It is simple formula, the further they book in advance, the cheaper the rate�.

�This new search tool illustrates the great value Travelodge offers. There is no excuse now for people to pay the extortionate room rates that most four-star hotels charge. The Travelodge website has also been re-designed in line with the new Travelodge brand identity and features significant developments in search and booking functionality such as the new shopping basket which has reduced booking time by a quarter and increased sales by 20%. The number of visitors to the website has also increased by 25%.

Travelodge worked with Sense Internet on the �26 / �46 specialised search facility, redesign and new website functionality.
